MESS sketchpost: continuation of this stuff.
Lines almost finished:
Man, Garrus looks pretty creepy with his staring eye like that. But it's hard to have nuanced expressions with turian faces.
Completed lines:
I want to have the options of with/without hat and visor, hence the two versions.
I've noticed some problems at this point - Shepard's neck is too long, and her right arm is still kinda wonky. But oh well.
Flat colors:
Background color isn't finalized yet. Also, still need to add some detailing before shading.
I almost never use colored lineart, but I wanted to try it for this:
It might be better when I add the shading, but I'm not sure; I think it ends up looking too unbalanced. So I might go back to the black lines. (Of course, that will require some other adjustments, like somehow making her eyebrows light-colored, the way they're supposed to be. Hrm.)
