So I'm probably coming over for work at the start of October (RSA Conference Europe if you must know) and I thought I'd take a day or two leave at the start so I can catch up with some people, since my 'personal' holidays are spent looking after Mum ( Read more... )

My holiday had to change because of the Olympics and now I'm missing your visit, a production of Trial By Jury and the Sevenoaks Players' 90th Anniversary Party, plus I wasn't allowed to audition for "Calendar Girls" because I would be missing too many rehearsals in the run up to the show. :(

If you're not too tired after work it would be lovely to meet up - we could even go to the fondue place for dinner (if it's still open!).

It should be fine. Saturdays tend to go so fast I don't usually feel the weekday need to crawl home and collapse! I finsh at 5pm so can be in town by half past-ish.

Well F & I are overdue for a visit to The Big Smoke but, sadly, not that weekend :( Friends of ours who traditionally come to stay with us in Blackpool for Illumination Switch On weekend are having the audacity to go to New York that week so are coming down the 5th-7th October instead :)

Of course !!! You may have your Ayres Rock and your Sydney Opera House over there but nothing beats the Blackpool Illuminations !!!!

Sorry about the delay - huge wrangling about budget going on.

I'm now worried that they're going to leave it so late I won't be able to get the kitties into their holiday apartment...
