(and the fact that they literally put her in a refrigerator) Right?! Ugh. Because "they didn't know what to do with it. Her." If that was a love letter, they can shove it. I'd rather have seen them trying to contact Nyssa somehow, a mention of Sin maybe?
Roy comes across as one of the most well-adjusted people on the showYes, his "if you're happier here, than you should stay" to Thea showed a sign of emotional maturity and normalcy that characters older than him often lack

I'm torn between thinking that the writers genuinely hate either the character of Laurel and/or Katie Cassidy, because they keep churning out such crap for her, and thinking that they actually love her and have no idea why a good chunk of the audience detests her so much.
I'm stumped, I really am.
Sorry for late reply, work is sucking all my time!
I love so much about this show, it's such a tragedy that the one character that's sucking my enjoyment is the one that's getting the big push this year. It also baffles me that directors that have managed to improve Colton Haynes' performance so much since Teen Wolf seem to be incapable of doing anything about Katie Cassidy.
Colton Haynes definitely gets the 'most improved' award, which basically leaves Cassidy as the one really bad actor on the show.
I'm sure if they just made Laurel a straight-up bitch she'd do fine with it, but the fact that they keep trying to make Laurel into a character the Cassidy cannot remotely play is baffling to me also.
