If we weren't busy with another friend's birthday dinner we could go see this tomorrow, but as it turns out tonight was our only chance: local goofball David Forman's new musical Dollface, about a comedienne who thinks she can be the next Lucille Ball and doesn't know she's not funny, with songs written in collaboration with Rob Hyman and Bette Midler.

So I'm missing this one, but not like I did last year. And just to put you in good company, I'm also not going to see Deni Bonet at the Postcrypt Coffeehouse or John Zorn pounding the last coffin nail in the cold, hard cement floor of Tonic tonight either.
