I have a lovely new iphone, if you want me to have your number, please comment (screened)

those with iphones, know of anyway to get contact information from the phone memory of a nokia to an iphone? the iphone won't register the nokia on bluetooth (the nokia does), and I didn't bring the cable to connect the nokia to the computer to do it that way

unfortunately, no mac around. If I was in KA there would be, but so would be my cord to connect the pc to the nokia!

fastest way is to put your old sim in and import the contacts on to the phone - it's under Settings; Mail, Contacts, Calendar; Import SIM Contacts

yes, I did that for the half that were on the sim, but for those that were on the phone I thought just adding them in manually was as much effort as going transferring every contact indivudally to the sim card (no transfer all function).

An iPhone can accept an email with contacts attached (vcard format).

Can the Nokia email your contacts in vcard format?

not without a simcard, no.

I've manually entered them all in anyway, didn't take too long, I only have 120 contacts. let me get used to the keyboard too (I always stuff up d and f)
