so the judging stuff arrived for piece of mind, a half year or so since the whole thing happened. i shouldn't really call it judging stuff because they didn't judge us -- no prizes or anything. they just wrote on those little critique things for us. i don't remember half of it because i was too agitated by what they wrote about my layout. those retarded judges don't know jack crap about anything. i doubt they have any real style or taste when it comes to art & design. they wouldn't know creativity or innovation if it fell on their house & crushed their whole family.

i have decided that the judges can kiss it...because if i'd followed their criticism i would have to not use the art submitted because it doesn't match the stories, make all the text sizes for titles & author names the same size with no bold or italics, and make separate poems "work together as a spread." how boring, eesh. they'll have a heyday with this year's mag, i used both arial AND arial black. haha

they probably won't like my design on this year's mag either, but they can blow me, as i have expressed to you in my early morning rambles
