I can also think of a million projects that i would love to write on and could get inspired by right now, but alas, these are not my actual project. just change "my project" for the slightly more amorphous "stuff i'm supposed to be doing" and that's me, too.
PS You know stuff about anthropology! Do you have any body studies/theory type tips? (I am doing 'Keeing the Body in Mind' this semester, yaaay!)
i think i have my old reader from "sexing the self" subject a few years back - i can dig it out and you can have it! it had some good history of medicine stuff in it. I'll be in the garage sometime this week and when i find it i will get in touch :)
Are you going back to do anthro? what are you doing? The best subject i ever did at uni was the one on witchcraft in the anthro department. It basically inspired everything I have written on seriously since.
i'm trying to do enough Gender Studies type subjects so that i'll have the option of doing 4th-year level stuff... so far i've done one core Gender Studies subject and that's it (although i did Cybersociety in my BA which can becounted as a GS elective).
i'm also looking at the Social Health program for a bit further down the line, which is why 'Keeping the Body in Mind' (and probably 'Minds & Madness' is such a good option - it goes towards both.
i'm just enrolled in a Grad Dip of Arts. *twitches* i wanna do proper research!!
If you want to come see choral people (come see us!) there's JJ's party on the 29th, Kate and Bron's on the 1st and I'll be arranging cocktails at platform 3 soonish.
Hello! Welcome home! I had been wondering where you'd got to!
I was wondering if you needed a fridge or pots for your new kitchen? We've just renovated our kitchen and have replaced the fridge with a fancy bigger new one, but the older one works perfectly fine, it's just a little small (350L) for a growing family of four. We're also planning to celebrate the new kitchen with a new set of pots that can go through the new (!) dishwasher (the current ones have plastic handles that won't do so well in there).
