Something I actually miss is using LJ. Like, I feel like I had a lot more fun/had stronger connections using LJ, ya know? So I think my mission this year is to use LJ much more often than I used to and possible wean myself away from Plurk. While it has its uses, I really do love having a blog like this ( Read more... )

HI THERE. I start classes on Tuesday, and I don't want break to ennnnd. I started reading books again, and it's been very enjoyable. Have you ever read Never Let Me Go? I'm recommending it to everyone now loll so freaking good. And how are you?

LOL I am sorry. I didn't want school to start either BUT AT LEAST THERE ARE GOOD CLASSES FOR ME THIS SEM...

YAY FOR GOOD CLASSES! My schedule is pretty much the best thing ever time-wise though I am not sure about my classes yet.

It's one of those books that is just better if you don't know anything about it before you read it imo. The way the book is written, it reveals what the story is about in a really... understated way. idk I think it's really awesome, and you should definitely check it out sometime. It's not a long book either. Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro... go find it if you have time!

I know I'm gonna be murdered for this but what exactly is Plurk? I hear about it a lot but I've never looked into it. I've kind of been clueless to what goes on in the LJ community, except for what people talk about in their journals. xD

People say its like facebook/twitter but idk cuz I NEVER HAD A TWITTER. Basically you have a timeline of these "plurks" which are little blog things about 15 or so and you reply to them much like you would in an aim chat room. But you can go back to them at any time. It's pretty easy once you get the hang of it. o3o

Hmmm let's see... Got married since I saw you last. :D Super, super happy and loving being a wife to the most perfect guy for me ever. I just moved to a new and CRAZY bigger apartment that seems to have cops crawling around it allllll the freaking time. There is a lot of crime :( but nonetheless, this apartment is awesome. About to start school with a bunch of classes for my major instead of just basics, so that is exciting. Life is good. On the bad side, my hubby has been in a motorcycle accident, but on the good; he has been healing very nicely and he was very lucky for what happened. He only had a few abrasions and a fractured finger. :)

Still in college with a short school week so that's awesome, if with time-consuming work. ;w;a Still obsessed with Russia and playing Latvia on and off. Getting into tumblr but not really and trying to get more ambitious with the loads of things I'm trying to juggle, aha -

Anyway, somehow it's exciting to be around for a post 001 ;w;/ It's great to see you again.
