I dont know if anyone remembers when i posted around June about my pneumonia? Its when I posted the before and after pics of me... Well I had to go for follow up CT scans after that. The second one in Sept. was much improved but I still had an abnormal scan.... altho it was markedly better and a resolving thing. I was supposed to have another ( Read more... )

another ex-smoker here. yes, i do get super paranoid when i have any breathing problems. i'm sure i have the worst lungs any average singaporean 30 year-old can have, given my past history of abuse. :p

good to hear the scan was ok! one doc told me that lungs have the ability to repair themselves, and they are constantly on the mend so not to worry. :) that was what encouraged me to stop smoking, knowing that i wasn't past the point of no return as long as i took the first step to stop the abuse. :)

Its so unerving. plus laying in that machine while they shoot IV contrast dye into you. ugh. The test is quick and really not bad its just the worrying and all... anxiety.. what if's? .... etc ( ... )

Theres alot of stuff available - online esp. In the US you can order all kinds of non-smoking things free from lots of places...these facts as a poster actually actually can be ordered ( ... )
