The RIAA and radio broadcasters want to legally force consumer electronics manufacturers to include FM receivers in all devices.
Because when I look at an iPhone, I think to myself "this thing needs to pick up terrestrial radio, so I can listen to the awful, awful music played on terrestrial radio."
