Nothing in the world quite makes me miss singing as much as the Christmas holidays. I know the words to more obscure carols than anyone has a right to (favorites of mine are "The Apple Tree Carol" and "Deck the Halls in 7/8"). i completely understand. i find myself driving to oxford every wednesday so i can help my sister's choir with their program, all because i missed it. while i don't really like the program they have selected and the choir is weak at best, it helps relieve the pull of those creative strings.

I love Madrigal singing. I wish I could hear you sing some of my faves...I like Une Flambeau (Bring a Torch in english) and What Child is This particularly being sung by Madrigals. I miss doing choral work myself.

I don't think I know the first on you mention, the second is a staple of the dinner. We usually used it during the "roving" portion of the dinner, where we broke up into small groups and sang for the tables as they ate.
