Driving home from Whole Foods the other night, I noticed a disturbing scene on the opposite side of Causeway from where I was. In the middle of the road lay a man, not breathing and his arm severed. There was a pool of blood near him and it was extremely graphic. I was pretty traumatized. Aren't the police supposed to prevent us from seeing

I once saw a very similar incident on S Carrollton near Xavier, and coincidently it was also a motorcycle accident that turned deathly. In fact, I found out the next day in an e-mail that he was a student at Loyola. It traumatized me as well.

I know me sharing this story won't help to cheer you up in anyway. I'm just sharing because we nearly had the same experience.
