Smirking Jackass.

So it's another public Shep post, this time for Milo, for references and such.

SUPER IMAGE HEAVY, TOO.

Hey! It's Milo Shepard! Savior of the Galaxy! Protector of the Citadel!

Also a chain-smoking asshat who has a face begging to be punched.

For a better, more head-canon look, zweihand got it perfectly. *_* <333 Yes, the pony-tail is a big Treasure Planet rip-off, I love it, and he does have a cheeky scar over his left eye. Zaeed beat him at the Most Badass Scar contest, though. Next year, he'll get it!

Anyway, beside being a colonist/war hero combo, Milo is my first male Shep. Possibly my last. Don't care for the voice (though I will admit that the acting for Shadow Broker was *SO SPOT ON* for Milo, especially during the car chase, it was spooky) and, quite frankly, it's hard to make a male Shep look good. >8\ And I also don't much care for the other LIs outside of Jack.

Speaking of which, here's the happy couple!

Okay, maybe not so happy right there.

Well.

Slightly sappy and angsty works too. Assume they go out and get rip-roaring drunk in a casino after this, idk. 8|

Milo has a fairly laid-back personality. Push him, he'll push you back, but then he might surprise you and buy you a beer. He has a perpetual habit of being intensely self-destructive; he's been smoking since Elysium, he picks fights in bars, if he didn't date Jack he'd marry his rifle (then again, dating Jack may also be labeled as 'intensely self-destructive') and... well, he's Shepard. Explosions come with the job.

Also, flying varren. That shit never gets old.

In short, young angry Milo didn't join the military for the perks or alien babes, he joined because he's aware that he's a damn good shot and he wanted a good excuse to bust open some batarian heads. Okay, the alien babes were part of it too.

He's calmed down since then, especially after seeing the attack on Elysium. Ashley Williams helped a bit with that in retrospect but given that she's... well... dead. :\

So he has a bit of a hero complex. That complex meaning he is utterly and without a doubt sure that someone lost the Right Person For The Job lottery and got him. Every time someone praises him, he has a Twilight Zone moment. This may or may not be due to a fairly deep guilt complex of surviving Mindoir, Elysium, and leaving a woman he loved behind on Virmire to guard the bomb. Yes, he does so very much regret saving Kaidan. And that's an asshole thing to think, and he knows it.

But, hey, it's his job. Not his mission or destiny or grand purpose. It's his job. Nothing more, nothing less. Because if he sat down and gave it serious thought, he'd probably airlock himself ten minutes in.

Yeah, they're entrusting THIS GUY to save EVERYONE.

They're fucked.

A few more pics over yonder! May update, not sure, gotta clean out my FRAPS folder, ew.
