arghh good question!

i would say for right now it's gummo. i've watched that several times in the last two/threeish months. but there have been quite a few movies that were really relevant to my life..
true romance, american psycho, eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, audition, and strange circus.

i have a tendency to get REALLY into a movie for a period of time in my life. i've watched all of those movies individually for quite a few months, then moved on. if that makes any sense. so yes, i'd say that list makes up the last three years of my life, hahaha.

it's a really really bizarre j-horror movie.. the art direction is incredible though, and the story is pretty fucking disturbing, but it's one of my favorite movies.

someone got it on dvd for me as a gift, but i'm pretty sure you could torrent it/watch it online somewhere. it can be kinda hard to get a hold of irl though. i don't think it was ever released in the states? idk.

i see that someone said gummo and iw as also going to say that.
and i was also going to recommend spirited aaway! so amazing.
but if you liked gummo, i recently saw a film called "nowhere" which was a very 90s version of it, but so awesome. i also love and wil always recommend Pink Flamingos and Cecil b. demented....or any movie from john waters.

oh yea dude, Nowhere is by the same guy who did this movie my best friend and i loved in high school, called the doom generation. ugh, i forgot the director's name - but that movie, cecil b demented, slc punk, they were all kind of part of the same group of movies in the 90s.

thanks :) i still haven't seen pnik flamingos. i should probably need to get on that!
