Why didn't anyone tell me that Pluto was disqualified as a full-blown planet last year, and now there are at least two more confirmed dwarf planets in the solar system, bringing the total up to 11? One of them is relatively close too, sitting in the Asteroid Belt and discovered over 200 years ago ( Read more... )

Oh, so that's what happened there. I knew it went under different names but I didn't know about the US stamp goof or why the two names existed.

Oh yeah, and then there's all the dinosaurs found in the last decade that have turned out to be covered in feathers, from Cretaceous and Jurassic periods. Oops!

Oh yeah, that's out of date as well now. When seeing if there was other stuff I hadn't been told about the solar system, it seems like it's been decided that there's one moon (and maybe a theoretical hidden moon behind it called Lilith, scary!), and at least two co-orbital satellites (the one QI mentioned and you told me about, and the other one QI mentioned when they asked the same question in a later series).
