*Except for: Most of the few people I know around here are gone. There has been very little for me to do. My phone has decided that my SIM card does not work anymore, so I can't even get in touch with the few people that are around. I've either been at work or sitting in my room. Even though I usually pride myself on being a rather ( Read more... )

Yeah, I miss you guys, too.

A coworker of mine reminds me of James A LOT and every time I work with him it makes me miss James.

See, I'm not wild about Ventura, and I love SF... Yet, several of my friends were readily availble the four days I was home and I had fun the whole time. I get back to SF and my phone is dead so I'm miserable. This has led me to the belief that location is not nearly as vital as who you have around.

There were a lot of people from UCLA in my store today. Apparently there is some sort of sporting event in town.

Anyways, my phone is fixed now and I'm actually in the position of choosing between three different parties to go to for New Years. Now *that* is a good feeling.

I like the spelling of "ericks" there. Believe me, hanging around Europe is interesting, but when it gets to be New Year's, or my birthday, or you go to Amsterdam, it's always better to have friends along with you. If you guys had been in Bruges or Amsterdam or Barcelona with me that would have been awesome enough to make hell freeze over.

If you guys could be over here in general it would be pretty awesome, actually.

hey, i've got a comic book question for you -- i've started the long process of new bags/boards for my older comics. i've been doing some reading and it sounds like you're supposed to change 'em up every 3-5 years or so if you're not using "mylar" -- but the polypropylene bags i got at ralph's claim to be "acid free." am i cool on using them for a while?

As far as I know they should be fine. If you're really adamant about switching them out, every five years should work.

okay, cool. i think i'm going to just switch out the older ones (some of them are pretty grungy) and leave it at that, at least for a while.
