E's mom has got an apartment and is moving out this week-end, perhaps before.

I'm finally getting a glimpse of what it really means to be the man of the house. It feels awkwardly demi-goddish. I have such power over my living space, but I have a responsibility to all these other little person[alitie]s to do everything in my realm of influence ( Read more... )

i could be off, but i Pennsylvania, pretty much every utility that tries to charge a security deposit is mandated by the state PUC to offer that Sec Dep on an installment plan.

so check with each utility and see what they say.

It's strange... I'd always felt the pressure and terror of running a house. It was gratifying, relieving, and lovely to let go and share responsibility.
