May sinabi ba akong verbatim? Haha. Iniba ko lang. Portraits pertain more to personal/single profiles, although pictures have a tendency to include more people in the background. Portaits--and I mean portrait pictures--though, depict people who look apt in their background. Like a metro aid sweeping manila or a geek inside powerbooks. Cliche minsan, but it conveys a meaning of the person complementing the background. :p And I believe it's a precise meaning. Sa Photojournalism. :p (btw: hindi pwedeng lagyan ng tagboard ang LJ.
