"If you are going through hell, keep going."

The subject title above was a quote from one Winston Churchill, back in the early-to-mid 1900's. I used it because today was a pretty bad day and accurately describes my attitude about it. To be honest it's not as bad as the subject title would imply, but bad nonetheless (especially since I try to never have a bad day ( Read more... )

cinnabon is hirering. like, desperately. its the same starting rate as what you're getting paid now, but we're all nice people, and you'll get a ton of hours. i work 20-30 hours a week.
sorry about the musical. but you were cast in a proffesional show. look at it that way. and if you were cast once, that means you can do it again

Cinnabon sounds good, but unfortunately I need a job that pays more than what I'm making now at a starting wage(take it from me... college is a bitch on the wallet). Also, I can't work more than 10-15 hours a week because I have a hella tough major (Computer Engineering). Thanx for caring :)

yo,
i'm sorry eckerd sucks, it does amaze me how little work those guys do there. sometimes, it makes one feel better, that you are actually working hard for your money - but in the end, it just sucks that you're working your ass off, but the lazy ones are still getting paid more. i feel ya, this was my blue-collar summer, and i'm pretty sure there are more to come.
i'm sorry that the play didn't work out, i was looking forward to taking a break from school and coming back down to PA to check out your acting skills and that hot baritone voice you serenaded me w/ @ eckerd. - about the "not happy" entry, this is your own damn entry, you can be in whatever mood you want, and if people expect you to be happy 24/7, then they have no grasp of the real world. not to say, "hey, scott, be angry and pissed!" i'm just saying that you're allowed to.
i hope things begin to look your way soon. mwah.

Heya, good point about the "working hard for your money" thing. People don't expect me to be happy, I just typically am. I haven't had a bad day for a very long time. Longer than I can remember in fact. It's not that I win the lottery every day, I just keep a good p.o.v. on life even when things go in a direction that dosen't suit me. But when you realize that you're working a dead-end job (even if it is part-time) and one of the things you love more than anything is gone (even temporarily) then it's kinda hard to keep that p.o.v. But... its been a little less than 24 hours now and I feel a lot better. I've already started looking at audition listings again and so far... nothing lol, but if I can't find anything in independent theater I'll just do college theater, which I'm sure is great also.
