I would be much more tolerant of her if she wasn't so whiny and angry all the time, but simply put, she's just an unpleasant character. Occasionally she's humorous, but outside of that, she's sort of an empty shell.
I'm so sorry you had such a bad experience on tumblr! D: I don't follow the Ace Attorney fandom on there, but I cannot believe people removed fucking watermarks on your photos and reposted them! What the fuck. *hugs you*
It seems like lots of people on tumblr are animals, though. XD Tumblr's just...not a good site for communicating with people. Seems like the only people who talk to each other on there are people who already know each other.
I'm glad you're back on LJ though! <3 I'm gonna try using it more too.
In hindsight, this post is probably a bit too dramatic, but I was just so upset and fed up last night! D:
The watermark removal was mostly the fault of one specific user, and I did contact her about it when I saw the volume of work she was putting online. In response, she "apologized" and claimed that she would edit the entries to credit me in the posts, but she never did. On top of that, she started reblogging some of my art posts while "in character" (it was an RP account), and left some less than kind comments on my work, among other things. I have a suspicion as to who it might be on deviantART, but I'd rather not mistakenly confront them.
(For reference, I went ahead and opened that entry you linked to the public. There's nothing sensitive there, and that was when I was locking *everything* down due to some asshole stalking me professionally
( ... )
Are people actually commenting back to you with Disqus? That was another thing that annoyed me; I installed the comment add-on, and not a single person used it.
Anyways, if it works for you, that's great! Your intentions behind having a Tumblr are a lot different than mine were, so if it's bringing in more attention and fans of your website, I would definitely say to keep at it for as long as you can stand to. (Just don't move all your personal stuff over there!
Yes, Blogger has to be linked to Gmail, and that's actually where I was before I made the switch to LiveJournal. I liked pre-Google Blogger quite a bit, but the new dashboard and interface isn't terribly helpful, and there's still that empty/detached feeling when it comes to tags and communities. I always felt like I was orbiting all alone and unknown when I was on Blogger. XD
