I really liked this! I liked how real and plausible it felt, Ray's reluctance that transforms into something like excitement and this Gerard and Mikey. Lovely lowkey storytelling!

i enjoyed the story from ray's voice and how he was/is just this normal guy. i love gerard's speeches. it just sounds like gerard and i could definitely feel his earnest little self in them.

This is so lovely! I really like party!Mikey and his being all busy with "the ladies", and the perfect combination of pouting and confidence in "He hasn't asked me yet." And I love Gerard's speech pitching the band to Ray, that's so exactly him, plus the wonderful sense of familiar friendship shot through with the memory (at least on Ray's part) of something more. I just love the feel of the whole thing.

This was a great look at how things could have started. I loved Ray's reluctance and Gerard's 'speech' and Mikey with his ladies, yet still waiting to be asked to be a part of the band.
