On Tuesday Ed took the kids to his parent's house in VA (a 10 hour drive) for the holidays. They're coming back tonight. So basically, I've been "single" for the last 5 days or so

I wanted to do that cake contest as well, but am not very good when it comes to cake decorating. Besides the fact that I don't really have time to *try* and *fail*, in order to get the perfect one.

Goodness! Someone's been busy!

I would love to try that contest but I just have NO talent in decorating. I love baking, but doing the decoration would be a little much for me.

Do you have a good buttercream recipe? I was inspired to start baking (but not enter the contest...I am in no way artistic!) but my frosting was a big flop :(

i can't wait to see the finished product. entering the contest crossed my mind for half a second and i realized that their are quite a few crafty and creative individuals like you and i can't compete.
