Hello,
I'm using my livejournal because every other social media aspect I have has a connection to RL and just no.
Anywho
Hello lovely author! This is only my second Yuletide. I'm going to try to keep this short and most of this is also in the optional notes, but better safe than sorry.
things I like fluff, angst, crack, pining, unresolved pining, AUs, crossovers, canon, non canon, more into the emotional part of relationships than the sexual, but sex is okay, I just prefer for it to have plot involved. Hurt/comfort is nice as long as the hurt isn't too bad. I'm okay with character death (that is well plotted and isn't pointless,) and also can handle bittersweet endings. Original characters are great too. Dream sequences are awesome.
things I do not like dub con, non con, overly graphic torture, extreme kinks (mostly I'm into roleplay, light power play, light bondage and spanking), werewolves, vampires, ABO, PWP.
On to the requests (in no particular order)
The Social Network:
Gosh these boys. I love the snarky brotherhood relationship, but I'm also sort of into the fact that Mark and Eduardo really did have that sort of love between friends that just doesn't come around all too often. I would love to have a 'how they met' and the implication it was always going to end disastrously. Or Dustin, Mark and Eduardo hang out in the dorm times. Or what if Mark, after Sean's disastrous party, strikes up the courage to call Eduardo and apologize? Or even better, shows up on his doorstep? Or what if they weren't ever friends and all their missed connections? Or Dustin as fairy nerdfather and he somehow gets them back together?
The Shawshank Redemption
Andy and Red are an amazing brotp, and I'd prefer a platonic relationship out of them. I'd love to see all the small moments they had after they meet again. How does Red really adjust to life outside? What happens the first time they sail Andy's boat? Is Red still a man who can get things, even here? What kinds of things does he get for Andy? How do the people they take out for a sail perceive them? Are they mistaken for lovers? What if someone recognizes them?
Newsflesh
UGH THIS SERIES. JUST.
Anyway. I'd prefer to stay away from too much angst only because Shaun and Georgia have had enough for ten lifetimes, let's be real. I'd love to see them at eighteen, getting that blood test to prove they aren't brother and sister, the nerves, the unspoken agreement as to what happens if they are, and what happens if they aren't. I'd also like to think they secretly keep in touch with Dr Abbey, maybe by sending odd specimens as Christmas presents, or because she helped them set up their hidey hole in Canada. Or maybe they decide to venture from their hidey hole in Canada, and they get recognized, and how they handle it.
Like I said, I'm open to anything, really, but I hope the above gives a starting point of some sort.
