I used to love our local Big Boy, but it closed after a fire a few years back.

Isn't it satisfying to look at all the money you've saved once you've saved it? Its not the same when its in a bank (though its safer). I run box office sometimes for a local venue and, even though the money isn't mine, I love seeing the full cash box at the end of the night. Its just very rewarding for reasons I can't really put to words.
