[Sokka nearly DOES fall over, in fact in his flailing he ends up grabbing Xion by the shoulder to steady himself (and inevitably her as well).]

She jerks away, only to realize in the same instant who it is. ] Sokka! But where-- .... oh.

[ The "oh" is very quiet as she looks off to the side. They're in the village... she hadn't even realized. Immediately a lot of the panic drains out of her. After a moment of collecting herself, she looks back at him. ] Sorry about that...

[This gives him a chance to get a better look at her. Wherever she's been, she's had a rough time at it.]

Don't apologize! What happened?

Nothing! I mean... um, nothing besides the Malnosso just letting me go. [ She shrugs, uncomfortable. ] I guess I wasn't thinking straight for some reason...

[Not enough to knock him over, but enough to make him stumble.] Gah!

[Who, what, where, when...oh.] Xion?!

[ Her too. She's quite off kilter for a moment, a hand to her head... until he speaks. Then she stares up at him like a frightened doe.

Giles. But ... last she checked, he was dead. He's....? ]

[ He might catch a fleeting glimpse of her expression scrunching up, like she might cry, before she throws her arms around him. ]

[Well, that was...unexpected. Okay, not terribly unexpected. He's gotten that a lot this week.

So Giles will carefully hug Xion back.]

I'm fine, Xion. And I'm more concerned about you, at the moment.

I'm okay! I just... [ After hanging onto him for a moment -- because god, it was hard, hearing those words, he's dead -- she'll finally release him and step back. As she does so, she glances over her shoulder, then shakes her head, looking back at him. ]

... The Malnosso just let me go. That's all. I'm really okay. I'm not even hurt. [ ... her crooked smile sorts that under the "small blessings" category. ]

[Excuse you but did you just trip on a wolf. Really.]

She faceplants after a collision like that, too. Face first right into the road. And it hurts a LOT.

She's too dazed and hurty to actually move for a moment, actually. ]

[You people. You can't even see a white wolf minding her own business in the road! After such a collision, Ammy had ducked down, mostly avoiding a tumble of her own. She does lose her balance slightly, but she still manages to right herself on all four paws.

The same thing can't be said about Xion, though. Ammy looks over at her with a look of irritation, though that turns into confusion as she steps forward... then pokes her paw against the girl's shoulder.]

Aroo? [Hey. You okay?]

O-Ow... [ She pushes up on her hands, finally. She's sporting a hell of a scrape on her cheek, and she's going to have a headache, but otherwise she's alright. With a small, slow shake of her head, she glances around...

... oh hey. ] Amaterasu? [ She looks around the road, then back at her. ... all of a sudden, horrified realization blooms across her face. ] I just ran right into you, didn't I?! I'm sorry!

Ginko is somewhat less of a brick wall than Wolfwood, but he's definitely more of one than, say, Hiccup. She's knocked off balance and nearly falls backward, only managing to stay right by instinctively grabbing one of his sleeves.

And then she stares at him, blinking and confused. ]

.... Ginko? Wait, where are we? [ ... glances around. ] We're in the village?

Yeah, that's right. Man, you were really moving. You feeling alright? [no harm double checking. The green eye looks her over, concerned]

I'm okay! ... I feel okay now, anyway. There was just this... [ ... ] It's nothing. I'm fine! [ She even lets go of his sleeve to show him her arms. They are free of injury -- and grime, though her dress is quite dirty. ] See?

[You know Masaomi actually briefly sees the small person before the collision. The fact that it is a girl is the only reason he doesn't shove or something to prevent himself from falling. As is, he lands on his tush with a theatrical yelp]

[ And she falls right on top of him, essentially ending up tangled in his lap. Gosh, how compromising! And also painful. Ow. She disentangles herself a little, trying to shake the dizziness out of her head, when she registers who it is. ]
