3:00 AM.

With days packed with schedules, Bang Yongguk should have been deeply sleeping along his others bandmates, but he couldn't. Actually, it's not that he couldn't sleep, his eyes were heavy and slightly itchy, his whole body was exhausted, he didn't even know how he could even be thinking and composing and writing.

Yongguk was the kind of person whom the mind would rarely shut down. He was always thinking, asking himself questions, from the simplest ones to the most complicated one, most of times not even having an answer to put his mind at ease.

That's why, at three in the morning, he was sitting in front of the piano, playing randomly. Surprisingly enough, his mind wasn't focused on the poverty, or the corrupted society or anything he could have heard about on the news, no.

The reason he was unable to sleep was simple and yet, one of the most complicated thing he ever had to deal with: Kim Himchan. His band-mate, his best friend. This idiot, who was always a bit too close to Jongup, a bit too good-looking for his sanity, a bit too everything.

Yongguk let out a deep sigh, staring at the white and black keys of the piano, an idea suddenly popping up in his mind. He would go back to Instagram tonight. Maybe Himchan would comment about how good he is, or how he admire him, or anything, even just a word, he commented on Jongup and Youngjae's pictures after all!

He knew he was being silly.

(Jealous? Certainly not. Nope, never.)

Deeply lost in his thoughts while creating a new account, Yongguk didn't hear the door being opened and closed, soft and slow steps on the floor approaching him.

"What are you doing at this hour, Bbang?" The rapper's eyes widened upon hearing Himchan's voice so close to him, he didn't even hear him walk in, when did he get there, why wasn't he sleeping!?

Yongguk's mind was flooded with questions and only put at ease when the hands of the visual made their way to his shoulders.

"Can't sleep..." He mumbled quietly, locking the screen of his phone before Himchan could tease him.

"I figured out, you weren't in the bedroom when Junhong started to sleep-talking to you." Yongguk allowed himself to crack a smile, that meant that the maknae was deely asleep. He was about to turn his head to Himchan when the latter started massaging his shoulders, a content sigh leaving Yongguk's lips. Himchan was always so good with his hands, no wonder he could play so many instruments.

"And why aren't you sleeping?" Even though he couldn't see him, Yongguk knew that, at this moment, a pout was forming on Himchan's lips. He just knew him that well.

"How am I supposed to sleep when you're not? You're always working so hard, but you never get enough sleep. You don't have to bear this alone, Yongguk. I am here for you." The concern and worry were obvious in Himchan's voice, and he was thankful for them. It meant that he was still important to his friend. He knew that he was stupid to think like this, but Yongguk was always thinking, over-thinking. And Himchan was easy to be loved, he was easy to get along with, he was such a social butterfly that Yongguk wondered sometimes how the visual could stay his friend when he was so awkward and shy, far from that fierce image he was showing on stage.

A comfortable silence took place in the room, Himchan's hands still massaging his shoulders and Yongguk still lost in thoughts. They stayed like this for a while until Himchan moved away, cupping Yongguk's cheeks, a soft smile still lightening his tired eyes. Beautiful, was the only word that Yongguk could come up at this moment as his eyes met with Himchan's.

Himchan was always good-looking, whatever the situation they were in: practicing, performing, posing for cameras or making a fool out of himself on variety shows. But what Yongguk loved the most was when Himchan's face was free of make up, when his dark circles were a bit darker on his pale skin, when his hair were naturally fluffy and messy.

(If he dared, Yongguk would say that he just loved Himchan the way he is. But he didn't.)

"Hey, Chan. Wanna help me with something?" Yongguk managed to asked after a few seconds of staring, the smile on Himchan's face widening ever so slightly as he nodded.

"Of course, what can I do?" A chuckle escaped Yongguk's lips while he unlocked his phone, soon followed by Himchan's. "You're going back there?" He asked, pointing at the application, Yongguk humming as a reply, confirming his account before handing his phone out to his friend.

"Hold the phone while I'm playing. Just wanna share this with our fans." And with you only, he added quietly in his mind, glancing at Himchan whose smile seemed brighter- or was it only a wish from his side?

A while later, as Yongguk was pulling a deeply asleep Himchan on his bed, he couldn't help but feel satisfied to have spent a moment with him that couldn't be shared with the other members. Because he knew, he knew that Himchan, his Chan, would keep it to himself. And maybe he wouldn't comment on his post like he did with the younger members. But he was fine with that.

Because Himchan's hand was curled onto his shirt, not willing to let go so Yongguk was "forced" to sleep by his side.

And that would be another thing that would belong to them, only them.
