Personality:
Rise is a well known teen pop-idol in Japan, known by the name Risette. Being a pop idol, she has an extensively crafted persona to go along with her alter identity. She acts cute and bubbly and super nice, and rather flirtatious. Risette is also very outspoken and boastful, taking pride in aspects of herself such as her measurements, etc. She enjoys teasing others and can sometimes act extremely childish, pouting, crying, and getting annoyed at the smallest things- however, usually they are crocodile tears, and she really isnt too bothered by whatever it was. However, on that note, she tends to be very emotional, quick to falling in love and indeed actually crying.
However, there is also Rise. Rise herself is a rather shy, kind girl, ready to be helpful and slightly insecure about herself. She, at the beginning of the game, desperately wanted to be disassociated from her pop star self, and for someone to know her as 'Rise' and not 'Risette'. However, after facing her shadow self, she realizes that her facade as Risette was just as much of a part of her personality as her 'true' personality, and she accepted both of them. She would be herself, and others would learn to love her for who she was, even when she is an idol.
Skills/Abilities:
Rise has the ability to summon a persona, specifically the persona Kanzeon. (http://megamitensei.wikia.com/wiki/Kanzeon) Using her persona she can gather information on enemies, analyzing them and detecting their strengths and weaknesses. She can also communicate with her party members using her persona, broadcasting her voice to them, possibly directly into their minds. Kanzeon places a special vizor in her hands over Rises eyes, in which she uses to see and analyse information.
Due to the fact she specializes as being an information gatherer, I would assume she would have some capability, using her persona, to hack the network and gather info for her team. However this is speculation, and feel free to disagree with me! I'll edit as need be <3
Kanzeon skill set:
Full Analysis; Reveals an enemy's stats, weak points, and any attacks or skills it may use.
Third Eye; Reveals the effectiveness of an attack using the cursor
Healing Wave; Recover 5% HP after battle. All allies.
Certain Escape; All allies are able to escape battle successfully.
Relaxing Wave; Recover 5% SP after battle. All allies.
Treasure Radar; Reveals location of treasure chests on every floor of the dungeon.
Enemy Radar; Reveals location of Shadows on every floor of the dungeon.
Weakness Scan; Reveals one Shadow's weakness at the start of battle.

[Rise bites down on her lower lip, her expression worried.]
Please. I don't know what to do.
[she closes her eyes for a long moment, then opens them, a smile crossing her face slowly but surely.]
No. I can be strong. I'll take care of myself, sempai, i promise! You taught me that.
[her smile turns into a grin.]

[rise blows the camera a kiss, and the feed cuts off.]

Under the visor, it almost felt like Rise was a spirit, following her team members along their journey. She couldn't interact with their environment, but she could see, almost as if she had a 360 degree view of their battle field.
No shadow could hide their secrets from her; she could see their every vulnerability, the chinks in their armor not visible to the human eye. This was her job, her skill, the one way she could support her friends and be useful. Rise was a professional information gatherer, you could say, gifted with the persona Kanzeon, a facade of her true inner self.
Using Kanzeon Rise could do many things to support her friends beyond even just that; identifying escape routes, transmitting a map where they could see upcoming monsters, and even helping to heal the party a little between battles.
No work she had ever done, not ever her pop life, had ever been more rewarding then what she was doing here and now, supporting her friends and helping to save lives from the horrors of the shadows. No matter what stood before them, what obstacles they had to overcome, they would always succeed; Rise was sure of that. She believed strongly in her friends, and through them she could believe even stronger in herself.
The pop princess took a deep breath and smiled, eyes zoning in on an enemy like a hawk on its prey.
"Haah! It's a no-brainer, I'm sure you'll win!"
