Gothic Cheese
Since there has been some interest, I will be running Gothic Cheese again this year. A quick reminder of what it is all about.
This is a contest for BAD poetry! The idea is to make my eyes bleed. Inducing vomiting earns you extra points:D The poem must be original and written by you. These are about the only rules I have:)
All entries should be posted in the comments section of this post. If you are a non LJ member, please leave a name so you can be identified when it comes to voting. You are free to post anonymously, but it will not be possible for you to enter the voting if you choose to do that.
Voting will take place around the 28th to the 31st, and the winners will be announced on halloween night.
The prizes as always are the dubious honour of being voted as the worst poet of the year, and a donation to the charity of the winners choice. In the event that the winner can't decide on one, a donation will go to Childsplay (http://www.childsplaycharity.org/)
I will be putting next years contest up on a website so that interest in it doesn't revolve so much around my LJ popularity. I have been fairly sick so I haven't had much energy for journalling of late and I really do love doing this contest:) I may put entries from this year up on the website so people can experience the horror! If you do not wish your poetry to be used in this way, please let me know:)
