**Instead of answering, Ennis found himself staring at the deepest blue eyes he had ever seen in his life. Even underneath the dark rim of Jack’s cap they were clear and vivid like glistening gems, the warm smile on Jack’s face reflected in the bright blue abyss of Jack’s eyes. ** - this was gorgeous!

**He saw a million and one stars, and felt like he could reach out and touch every one. He could sense Jack watching him, and he didn’t mind. He wondered if Jack was waiting for him to say something, but didn’t think Jack would care for his tangled up thoughts anyhow.**

I'm glad that Jack and Ennis are in the same cabin, and better yet, in their own little corner. And already they're secret smoking buddies. I can hardly wait until they're more than that. Ennis already feels the pull toward Jack. I hope Jack feels the same pull toward Ennis.

Poppyhoney, thanks for another good chapter. Poor people who can't have a smoke. They will suffer so much if they can't have their coffin nails. Looks like Ennis and Jack are fast friends. Nothing like practicing a forbidden act together to create strong bonds. Who knows what they will come up with next.
