Just wonderful. Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful story. Their first time was so romantic and hot and sexy. Yet, there is such a sweet innocence about these boys. I love the way your story flows - perfection.

He traced absent lines around his chest, imagining holding on to Jack’s hand as he attempted to soothe his worries. Jack had done it, had calmed him down, like Ennis had done so many times with a fretting horse. And like a horse, he now felt like he was running free, but knew he’d always return to the one who had released him. He had no choice.

Just beautiful. Can't wait for more. - B

Hey C:

I'm reading this with tears streaming down. Thank you for the edits. It means a lot. I really love being your beta and especially love being your friend. We've grown so much together through this. I think the end product, this chapter, is really beautiful and tender and you can see it in everyone's responses. A fitting chapter to gift a beautiful and tender friend.

I agree with Jenna, I love your attention to detail and your long, meaty chapters. Even though I've read this a few times, I still get a lump in my throat when I get to the part where Ennis holds out his hand for Jack's shirt. To quote Jack: You do me in. I am incredibly proud to be part of this fic and especially this chapter. Love you. ♥ Em
