Hi Lindsey, thanks for your comment. I know its hard and believe me it was hard to write. I just wanted to convey the way they both feel, and its not good. This isnt a good time for either of them. I'm glad you are optimistic though, because I want you to be. Thanks for reading and commenting.

Well I've not had time to read much lately but I had to read this!!

I think I must stand up and start clapping, love.. I think this is your best chapter.. As much as it pains me to read what is within it.. I just felt *all* the emotions as if it was happening to me..

For you to heap all the desolation felt, Jack's emotions just dying before him...I can only hope that Ennis feels something.. I see a slim thread of hope..

Like Lindsay says perhaps Bob knows something..

I can see how hard this was to write.. But you made *such* a good job of it..

Good job. I was pleased to see this but I need an update soon or there will be at least 2 bbs members you kill with just needing to know..

Hugs

what a nasty kid you're drawing when you write ryan. a real prick. if only jack had thought to deny the accusations by coming on with a good offense.

this chapter was heart breaking. you really do angst well. the pain that jack is in, the confusion and the pain that ennis feels since he took his stupid stand. and ennis' agression toward ryan seems to be misplaced hurt and guilt.

i just can't say how moving this chapter was.

here's hoping something goes right soon.

Hi gr, thanks for your comment, so glad it all worked for you, despite all the angst that went with it. You are right about Ryan, he isnt a nice boy, and Jack just was too shell shocked to react with something that would have shut Ryan up. Hindsight is a great thing! Thanks for reading.

Hi Julie, thanks for reading even though you've not had much time to do much of that lately, thats really nice of you to say that. Its so nice too for you to say its my best chapter so far, I'm flattered. I'm glad its out of the way though to be honest as it was really hard to write. Keep hold of that slim thread of hope. Thanks so much for your great comment! It makes it all worthwhile.

HI pigale, thanks for your comment. Yes I know about the angst overload, sorry about that. It'll lessen up from here on in, I promise. :)

Oh, man, this was tough to read. Poor Jack and Ennis both so heartbroken, and then Ryan finding the t-shirt. I know he's gonna cause some trouble. Hope you update soon, I can't stand to see them hurting like this

I know Jack was shocked, but i wished he said to Ryan, "I don't remember the shirt being there. Maybe someone put it there or did you make this all up?"

Ennis shouldn't have grabbed the kid. He will probably lose his job because of that.

Can't wait to see how you work this all out.

Hi ns, I can see why you'd want to Jack to say that, but we dont always think straight in the heat of the moment. And maybe, maybe he didnt want to lie. Ennis shouldnt have grabbed the kid, I know. There'll be fall out from it, so keep reading. Thanks for reading.
