This chapter was very very nice to read, even though the first part was really upsetting. Meli rocks, and I've loved her from the first. I was so happy when Ryan was sinking into his seat in Howie's office rather than his usual smirking. That kid makes me so mad, and has through the story....good riddance. When Ennis took Jack to the workshop to show him what he had there in the bag, I was holding my breath and trying to think what it could be (I've wondered before too but I'm not good at guessing). What a great surprise, and what a very nice kiss and conversation!!! What a relief things turned out good *sigh* You had me scared even though I *knew* it was going to work out...at times here it didn't seem like it. Thank-you for the great chapter!

Thank god they are back together, the last chapters were so hard to read... You pulled an almost miracle here - it's hard to overturn a child accusation... But you did it, and they are back together !! And Ennis telling Jack "I love you!" - awesome !!

Hey! I was thrilled to see this on my friends page tonight. Sorry I've been so out of touch the past couple of weeks--the "news" I just shared with you has made it hard for me to do much more than work and crash hard when I get home. Hopefully things will get better. :) But anyway, I loved this chapter. So satisfying. Howie really made a tough decision (and so did you: I was sure you were going to just send Ennis home, and then what?!). Thank goodness Meli saved them--that's what she's there for. I agree with Em; spankings are in order. Ryan gets a real one, but J & E get sexy ones, and Meli gets to watch. Thanks for a beautiful chapter, hon. xx Jen
