much better, ennis' job is saved, though i really don't understand why howie changed his mind to let ennis stay. i mean even in the face of great distress a couselor cannot be allowed to hit a child no matter how badly that child behaved. ennis should have gone to howie when he was on the verge of physically and very voclly reprimanding him. the child.

anyhow, i'm glad to see that ennis is over his snit at jack. i am glad they are back on track. but this just reminds me of my ongoing concern, how will the boys manage to get in touch or stay in touch after the ending of the camp's season.

Hi grlewis,sorry for the late reply. I'm sorry Ennis being reinstated didnt work for you. I made sure that Ennis did not explicitly hit Ryan, and Ryan lied intentionally to cause trouble for Ennis. I'm about to post my next chapter...its near the end of camp and things will soon become clearer as to how things will go once camp is over. Thanks for reading and commenting :)

I REALLY hope your not planning on ending this story soon. I can't wait to see what happens with the remainder of camp, but I'm also VERY intrigued to see what will happen when Ennis drives Jack home. When KE meets Jack, when they make choices and a life after camp.

Hi stillearning...thanks so much for your comment and your comments on previous chapters, so glad to know that this story is capturing you, that means alot. I am about to post my next chapter. Sigh...... I think you know me well enough to know what I think of the ending of this chapter...swoon, sigh...THUD! I'm so glad they are back together...and Ennis telling Jack he LOVED him!! PURE BLISS!!!!!

...I needed it too... I was beginning to read the chapter with one eye closed after Ennis' first meeting with Howie... I was so upset!! I'm sooooo glad that Ryan is now seen by all for what he really is...the little swine deserves it.

But..oh How quickly I opened two eyes once Ennis got Jack to go to the workshop...;-) ..and what a moment to produce that love spoon...it sounds beautiful with the letters J and E carved so beautifully....on a love spoon...... Aww...sigh, sigh, sigh!!

This note is long overdue...but while catching up with so much I missed this summer on LJ I just had to drop you a line and let you know that even though you haven't heard from me in a while I'm still here! I spent very little time on LJ for about 6 months while working on a free lance project that turned my life completely upside down! I only got a chance to log on once in a while to print as much fic as I could...but then with such little free time I was reading very, very slowly. But...I read as much as I could and I eventually managed to catch up on what I missed of Middle of Nowhere and Whoooowheee were things going a bit crazy for a while there!! I have to say that you had me on pins and needles for a while there...I couldn't imagine YOU giving us a horrible ending but things were getting pretty scary. But Chapter 18 was to die for...things turned around in such a sweet (and HOT!!) way...I couldn't have asked for a better turn of events! And this: "You're all I want" "You got me" - Jesus I can hear their voices! My heart

Hi Lisa!!! :) Oh its so nice to hear from you. I often wondered where you were because I always enjoyed reading your comments. Dont apologise though, you have had a lot going on with work - not to mention a certain meeting with a certain someone ;) I bet you havent come down to earth from that, not that I blame you one bit.
