10 Things I Hate About You

I'm having a 10 Things I Hate About You moment.  I haven't seen the film for a while, but I found the poem that Kat reads out at the end on the net the other day.   You may know the one.   The love poem that doesn't mention love but lists all the things she really, really hates about Him (him being Patrick of course), which translate to her

That scene always makes me cry. It's been a few months since I watched the movie and sure enough I started to cry when she was reading all the reasons why she hates Patrick, but then when the scene switched and he started to talk . . . well *sigh*

Anyway, thank you so much for sharing this. :) It's one of the best parts of the movie.

Thank you, now I will have the courage to finally open all my DVD and watch the movies I have and just couldn't bring my self to look at before. Heath stared in them to share his talents and I am not honoring him by hording his work without watching his performance.

I adore 'Ten things" as you can tell by my avatar!! It was the first Heath film I ever saw and I was smitten :)) The bit with the poem always chokes me up. I also love the bit where he's falling for her and follows her into the guitar shop and book shop without her knowing *bless*.

Hi Anna, yeah I guessed you were a 10 Things fan lol I didn't see this film until after BBM and just love Heath's comic timing. This is my favourite scene, but there are many others. I too love the guitar and book shop scenes. I like the idea of a guy doing that. You know I was looking for a particular icon to go with this post, it was one I saw somewhere in lj-land, and it was in the book shop and Patrick is holding "The Female Mystique" in his hands. You know the one? I looked and looked but couldn't find it :( But I like the one I did find just as much :) Patrick is such a bad boy...

I *adore* 10 things. It was my first heath film...

And this is beautiful. We are lucky to know Marj, aren't we? She's been really helpful to me recently, nothing is too much trouble.. And she's *trying* to encourage me to be more *creative*

I need to watch this again soon now :) I have so much fic to catch up on and comments... Never enough time..
