What is it with all these hip hop artists featuring someone else on their songs? What ever happened to the good ole days when an entire album was just that one artist. I suppose its a good way to introduce a new act, but it seems a bit overdone now a days.

On Saturday April 25 my friend and mentor, Kahlo Benavidez passed away from complications of AIDS. He was less than a month from turning 23. I first heard about Kahlo shortly after I was diagnosed from an article in the Dish Rag. I immediately found solace in him and felt I wasn't alone. OK so I had a strange dream this morning. I was teaching at Austin High but my class was basically in a giant treehouse. While there, I remember there were many other teachers with me. I hate digital cameras. I lost the USB cable that came with my camera so now I have to go to Walgreens and take the memory card to print out the pics. So Johnny and me are going to Phoenix this Friday for Pride. I'm so excited! I may even go see Marcus. It will be interesting to see my former boyfriend meet my current one. Hopefully there will be no drama and hopefully I will remember to take my camera.
