Lily's Christmas.

Dec 19, 2005 10:22

Once upon a time there was a dog named Lily, and there was also a dog named Wishbone. Lily and Wishbone decided to find out the meaning of Christmas.

They began to search high and low.

But they couldn't find the meaning of Christmas.
Lily decided she had to look harder.
So she went off, in search of the meaning of Christmas.

First she looked in the living room.
She saw a wreath.

"Are wreathes the meaning of Christmas?" Lily asked.
Wreathes are not the meaning of Christmas.
Then she saw stockings.

"Are stockings the meaning of Christmas?" She asked.
Stockings are not the meaning of Christmas.
Then she saw Christmas balls.

"Are Christmas balls the meaning of Christmas?" She asked.
Christmas balls are not the meaning of Christmas.
Lily looked all around.

But she couldn't find the meaning of Christmas.
Wishbone looked too.

"Maybe Christmas is in here!" Lily exclaimed as she attempted to get to the center of the Christmas ball.

But alas, it wasn't.
"What about in here?" She asked.

But it wasn't.
Wishbone laughed and laughed.

"Silly Lily, Christmas isn't about the balls, or the stockings, it's about friends!"

(yeah that's Max and me in pre-school)

"and family!" Wishbone said knowingly.
"I understand now!" Lily exclaimed. They had finally found the meaning of Christmas.
THE END.
