We are at 5 days till I am leaving for Galveston to go on the Cruise for my birthday.  I want to be excited about it, but I am bogged down in the getting it done details and some issues with a couple of friends... I'll be able to shake that off once things are underway, but right now its just keeping the level of anticipation down

Seriously, the best cruise advice I can give is do whatever it is you want to. If you stress yourself to "see" stuff because when will you be there again, it won't be as fun. If you tell yourself not to see stuff because of money or because it's supposed to be a relaxed vacation, you may regret it later as well. So try to drop planning as much as possible (obviously signing up for trips in advance if you have the urge) and do what strikes your fancy when it strikes. And drink something sweet and drunk making for me!

I am so happy for you, I just can't tell you. Have a great trip! The only thing I think you left off your list to to get laid everywhere....on the beach, in the room, on the poop deck....ok maybe not the poop deck!
