Just a quick post to comment on the tornadoes that went through Arkansas last night. They actually went straight through the area I live in, but missed our house by about 2 miles. We were worried for a while, but living in a hilly area paid off and the two tornadoes went a little south of us. There is apparently damage all over town and Little ( Read more... )

My daughter Liko was very worried about Devin and asked about her this morning. She said Devin had problems getting her e-mail.

I am glad to hear that no one there was hurt. Yes, we were all watching the devestation on the news this morning.

We had to shut down all the systems as a precaution last night due to the power issues. I will make sure Devin checks in with Liko when she gets home from school.. Thanks for worrying about us!

Yikes. Tornado warnings are never good, and the closer they get to you, the worse it is. Glad you're all ok.

I'm so glad that you're OK.

We had a tornado warning the other night, and Vanessa was completely freaked out until they came on again and said that the warning was over.

Thanks... Yes, poor Becca. She got a healthy dose of the "worry Gene" from my mom. She's going to be old before she is a teenager at this rate! Glad Vanessa was able to calm down after your scare too.

It's times like these I wish I watched more TV...or simply kept up on things outside the DFW area. All I remember was the tornado watch we had last week. Nothing actually touched down, but there were a few scary-looking swirls in nearby areas.

Although needless to say, I'm really glad everyone's ok.

Thanks, Babe... I appreciate it. I am not good about keeping up with news, weather, etc outside of my immediate area either... I actually didn't know about the tornadoes here till the alarms started going off. oops.
