Melbourne sounds like so much fun, I wish I could go to a comedy festival! I had no idea it was Hipster Central though haha. /also comes from a place where all the hipsters congregate

I have not yet read Kafka on the Shore. Have you read any other books by Murakami?

Maybe it's the people I hang out with, but there are a lot. But it's a pretty diverse place; skateboarders and break dancers hang outside our state library, there's a plethora of goths/punks/emos practically living in front of one of the main train stations, etc. ...but I don't know them. D:

Not yet! I mentioned I wanted to read his books, so a friend who works at a bookstore bought me a few for my birthday. I... haven't made much progress. 8D; But I'm liking it so far!
