I have this on-going crush on a very attractive young woman who rides the same bus as I do when I head off to work in the morning morning. I have never spoken to her and our only interaction has been when she said "Excuse me" when she had to get off the bus the one time we sat together. I have no idea what her name is and have never seen her ( Read more... )

The little things keep me sane, I think. Random crushes are fun because there's no pressure or stress.

i agree. sadly all my random crushes are on people like mc chris and orioles second baseman brian roberts. this makes things a little more depressing than usual because at least with the girl on the bus the fantasy is a little more realistic.

That's either kinda creepy or kinda sweet...

I'm going to go with sweet because I like noses too.

Yeah, I thought it might come out as being slightly creepy, too. I guess it's a fine line.

i use to have a crush on a girl i took the bus with. i spent a good half of a year trying to think up something to say to her. i finally decided on "your suspenders are really great." because she often wore suspenders. then she stopped taking the bus, and i didn't get the chance.
last year i saw her again when my boyfriend introduced her as his lesbian ex-girlfriend/current room mate. that kind of takes all the fun out of a crush.

it was one hell of an awkward introduction.

That's really the thing with the bus. I mean, you never know what to say and there's always tons of people around, so you feel weird because everyone is listening to your conversation. I doubt I'll ever talk to her.
