So, uh, before the comics madness started, and before I started reporting every tiny little occurence in my boring life in minute detail, this used to be a fandom journal. For Yugioh. Some of you might remember.

Thank you!
Pitying Bakura is never wrong! Not in my book, at least.I think my villain bais is showing. This is probably why I want to end the world so much.Recurring theme anyone?
See, that's what I mean when I say I am stealing from you: I had to explain the whole Thief King bit to my sister. In my head, Ryou remaking the world is canon.
Do you think I should post this to that dead Dreamwithd comm I am theoretically modding?

I have, but thanks anyway, it's always good to re-read it. It's a lovely imagery, lovely meaning frightening and dark.=) On the subject of my questionable sanity, last night I dreamt I was Light, on the run and killing people. Also trying to blame someone else, which didn't really work but I got out of captivity multipel times. I had a parachute! Anyway, that's probably not a good sign, is it?
Hm, I still haven't finished reading the manga, I should get back to that. I'll tell you when I get to that part.
I'll do that, then.

This is beautiful. Short, but it's perfect like that. I love the kind of feeling of completion it gives, like 'wow, this is really the end.' And how Ryou has just given up fighting, and accepted all this... plus the way Ryou is creating something grand for the ultimate purpose of destruction. I love that irony.

Great job!

I don't really see it as giving up (although technically it is), I just think if you're close to a person (and only one person) you tend to adopt their views of the world, and if Ryou is really as caged in his own head as he appears to be, then the only one he's spoken to for years is the spirit. That kind of warps his perspective a bit. And if he's not...well, then one really wonders why he does the things he does.
