Author's Note: Title snagged from T. S. Eliot's The Dry Salvages, which you read read in all its glory here. Part names are snagged and headlined by poems by the gloriously more talented than I Eavan Boland. There are so many different people that helped me actually freaking complete this monstrosity of an idea I had in what--August? August, people. Rarely does Emily actually finish her huge writing projects, let alone go back and edit them over, and over, and over again. First and foremost, I need to thank thursdays_girl, the fabulous lady who made the art for this fic (and when I say "made the art," I mean FREAKING CRAFTED A GALLERY, YOU GUYS: 2 fanmixes, banners, and a freaking fanvideo. I know, even I'm hyperventilating a little bit and I've known about them for months). She has been my rock since day one of this project, when I was pretty sure there was no way in Limbo that I could finish this. When I came up with a half-baked plot, thursdays_girl was the one who said "yes, you need to finish this so I can read it!" So thanks, darling, for everything: for reading bits and snippets when I felt insecure, for cheerleading, for making an incredible selection of art. I also have to give a shout out to all the other authors who went through the bigbang (holla dreamauthors!), if you finished or otherwise. I am so proud to have finished, and I really hope you guys like this! ♥
