So as Chihiro's vet bill for the dental surgery she needs could top out at $1400, and I don't really have much in the way of finances due to my present state of unemployed (and the job I'm angling for is $5000 less annually than I had been making, so I won't be swimming in fundage then either) I am thinking about making cat jewelry to sell as a " ( Read more... )

Well, I'd buy cat-themed drop earrings or a necklace/pendant from you, and will recommend your work to cat-loving friends. (I have one pair of stamped-gold cat earrings that I almost love, but they're posts, and I really prefer to wear hooks.) If the cats are similar in size and weight to your Autobot and Decepticon sigils, you could reprise those designs.

If it would help with the initial materials cost, I'm happy to pre-order, too.

I've got... cat beads of varying sizes. Some fairly small, to a couple carved out of stone that are about an inch tall.

...My symbol that I do when I ship out Transformers jewelry, is the sigil with a cat paw on it. I could almost do THAT, or just the paw. I could go look for a cat stamp similar in size to my sigil stamps and do a bunch of shrinky-dink ones.

That could be cool. :)

Michael's (near here) sells a pretty small, simple cat stamp -- at least theoretically, but they always seem to be sold out. 'course I'm not sure if you're talking about the same kind of wood-block-and-rubber stamps my son likes to play with.

Yes, I am. I'm going to see if I can find a decent-sized cat silhouette that would be the right size. Thanks for the idea!
