So proud of you! You sound like things are slowly picking up and settling down and you sound more hopeful than I've heard in a long, long time :) And I'm so glad Chihiro is back with you xxx
I'm so glad to have her back, and I can tell she's glad to be my kitty again. The time apart did sweeten her up a bit, I think. She's much more affectionate. ^_^
I feel hopeful. Tired, because work is hard and stressful, but I enjoy it, and I don't feel completely overwhelmed. (Other than when people are trying to kill me with bricks, anyway.)
Sounds like all sorts of awesome stuff! I'm glad things are finally settling down for you :}.
We see a sphynx cat at work, and that one at least is really cute, much cuter in person than any photo I've seen. And so soft! Like a warm fleece blanket.
They are evidently very oily, as they have no fur to distribute their skin's natural oils, so baths are a frequent thing for them, and I dunno, they just look so alien. XD
I thought you said double finances at first, and I was laughing because that's an "in my wildest dreams" scenario.
Since we just got buried in a foot of snow, I'm back to my boots, but bonus, the bricks are ALSO buried under a foot of snow. We'll do a campus-wide sweep of large, dangerous debris once we can see the grass again.
Yeah, I know, been awhile since I've commented on anything LJ-wise, but I can't not say how proud I am of you. You've done so many amazing things in the last several months and dealt with so much pain that I'm in awe of you.
Hope things continue to be OK and improve from here, 'cause you've earned it.
It's really weird to be on the receiving end of that sentiment. And it's also really weird to be on this side of the last two years of my life, because it was a long, hard, slow slog and I still can't believe it's mostly over. (Still have debt to work on, and three years of taxes to unfuck, but one thing at a time.)
I guess my mom's constant refrain of "How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time" has finally gotten me to the other side of the elephant, and now I don't even know what to do next.

Yikes getting chased by brick-wielding residents, though D: Stay safe out there! *hugs* Tennis shoes, most definitely *nodnod*
