alaskan crab legs were on a mad sale, and one of the moth's coworkers gave her a bunch of heirloom tomatoes from her garden! hence the incongruous pairing!

How cheap is Alaskan crab on a "mad sale" and would a n00b like me be well equipped to cooking it?

on sale is about 9.99 a lb (usually it's double that). and it's REALLY EASY to cook. just steam or boil it. they usually come precooked (and presalted) and all you need to do, really, is warm them up from being frozen.

serve with clarified melted butter & done.
