Yeah, nothing like the ignorant "news" agencies fostering the ignorant public. Peter should have just told the mom who lost her son to suck it up, grow some nuts like her Marine son had, and accept that the game is going to be made. (OK, so that might be a little overboard) Regardless of the controversy, shit like this needs to be done. Sure, it's not all that long since the battle, but there wasn't this level of controversy about Call of Duty or any of those other games, despite their historical settings. These people need to just shut the fuck up and go back to pretending they're important and their opinions matter.

Actually, that particular mother wasn't bad, at least in that 20 seconds of talking. I wonder how Fox found her - if she was involved in some sort of protesting group or just a semi-random mother with a knee-jerk negative reaction.

I think that's the same mother who was in the ABC story as well. I think I've seen her in other articles on Kotaku and she seems to be the only level-headed one amongst the vocal critics of the game.
