Wow! I didn't know that Jesus required Flash. Gonna put a damper on those that both require salvation and use 64-bit processors, though that could change later this year.

Religion to me was meant to teach everyone ways to reach enlightenment. But like all things intepreted by men, it has started to become elitist and dominating, and lost its meaning. There are obvious sins, but there are also sins to protect the certain need of a community at that point in time.
Miracles and faith is within ourselves, we have to seek our own bliss, whether guided, self-learnt or actually realizing it.
He sacrificed his son for his follower only? Wrong... He sacrificed his sons for his people.
What about those who crucified jesus? If they repent they will be saved.
Are they going to have eternal life? If they repent and believe in him.. they will have eternal life.
So much for unconditional love? His act is unconditional. Imagine this hierachy .... God is superior to Men and Men is superior to Dog. Will you turn your son (a higher being) to a dog (lower being) and be battered by other dogs just to save another dog's life?
Its dangerous to interprete the context of the bible if you do not understand it. Knowledge is powerful but half knowledge ..hmm.. can be pretty damaging.
How can grace be graceif it has strings attached?tergiversatorJanuary 5 2006, 05:23:08 UTC
Can an action be perform without any condition applied? An expectation of no expectations; its an expectation in itself.
Look at it in 2 paradigms While Grace is given with the condition for us to believe in him, we are entitled to decide if we want to be the son of God.
If Grace is given away freely without any condition, then we are the son of God regardless of the fact we want to be his son annot. That in itself is a condition applied.
So how can a process or act be of no string attached? I would like to hear some. :P

you should read Marcus Borg and Bishop Spong, they shed a lot of light on this.
Jesus was never exclusive in His Love.
