Should I address this as a hypothetical situation, or that Alazai is you, Dawn is Katie, and Richard is Katie's dick boyfriend?

Is that's the case, why the hell is Katie in a relationship with such a dick guy who would threaten to hit her bestfriend (you).

You have evry right to be upset and you should really talk to Katie about this. She's your bestfriend, she'll care.
