As a self proclaimed non-expert, I'm not worried, and I think it's very cool. Here's some info about black holes - The bigger they are, the longer they last. In the words of Stephen Hawking, "black holes have no hair" (which translates into something AWESOME in French, btw). Actually, I just wanted to say that. But anyways, black holes emit radiation at a rate inversely proportional to it's size. Since it emits radiation, it actually shrinks until it goes away. The bigger the black hole, the longer it will last. Small black holes (2 solar masses, since those are the smallest ones that form naturally) would last a few dozen million years or so. Huge ones (1000 solar masses) will be around for billions if not trillions of years ( ... )

ummmm yeah. i think it's cool too.
i read about it from Bill Bryson and I'm excited that it's finally happening.

but don't you think they should be able to get some kind of permission or majority vote or we should get come kind compensation... because of the possiblity that our world is going to cease to exist when it gets swallowed up in a black hole.
You want my permission? That's 1,000,000 dollars please.
