This prompt is awesome.

Cave Johnson being Chell's dad strangely . . . makes sense. I mean, there is that Bring Your Daughter to Work Day science project by a girl (named Chell, what a coincidence)and "daddy's special formula" made the potato grow to mammoth proportions. I mean, it would just be like Cave to give his own kid a HUGE upper hand in a science fair.

Also, what if Chell's mother is not Caroline, and Caroline always felt a little resentful. Thus, GLaDOS' natural resentment towards Chell.

Also, if Chell is Cave Johnson's daughter, GlaDoS psychotic crush on Chell becomes a little creepier makes a lot of sense. After all, if Caroline couldn't have Cave, what's the next best thing?

My little heart just melted at the thought of Chell playing on the floor watching spongebob with Cave kind of smiling and watching her while he goes over some paperwork
